Akron Public Art Inventory
The Akron Public Art Inventory was created by ART x LOVE in 2024-2025 to map and assess the condition of all public art and cultural items that are owned by the City of Akron, funded by the City of Akron, or on public property.
This first-of-its-kind resource is a living database with more than 700 records that can be updated and managed by the Akron Public Art Commission. Commissioners have a wide range of tools to navigate this database including the ability to filter items by Ward, Category, Condition, and more.

Note: many of Akron’s public art and cultural landmarks do not include signage with the title of the piece or the name of the artist(s) and organization(s) involved. If you have any of this information and see that it is missing from the collection, please contact the Office of Integrated Development by emailing publicart@akronohio.gov or calling 330-375-2376 and we will update the inventory.
